HandsomeBoy is still sick. Not as bad, but he still can't return to school. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that he can go back tomorrow!
I was pretty productive yesterday. Weekly Home Blessing, lots of laundry, dishes, shredding more documents, making phone calls, updating my calendar, paid bills, finished some long over-due thank you notes, inventoried Big Red's (aka the dog) medicines, practiced HandsomeBoy's sight words with him, did homework with HandsomeBoy and CutiePie, made menus for the week, went grocery shopping, went to post office, recycled newspapers and scrap papers, cooked dinner, served dinner, ate dinner, cleaned up dinner, made CutiePie's lunch for today and finally sat down to watch Dancing With the Stars. Whew! What a day!
Today, I've already gotten the boys up, dressed them, fed them, medicated HandsomeBoy, dropped CutiePie off at school (and he was NOT happy about going when HandsomeBoy didn't have to!), took Big Red to the vet to get a blood test and refill on one of his meds, came home, did about 15 minutes of my paid employment work via the internet and am now updating my Blog while HandsomeBoy patiently waits for his turn on the computer. I think he's trying to encourage me to be quick because he's decided to spend the time waiting by drawing on his legs with a pen. He says it's a treasure map. I guess he really is starting to feel better.
Today is also going to be busy. At noon, we have to pickup CutiePie at the synagogue school and take him over to the daycare school, so I expect we'll be having another issue then. Back at home, I've got more organizing and ironing to do, plus I'm going to try to do HandsomeBoy's homework early in the afternoon. Later this afternoon, I'm supposed to go to a bris and then to the theatre tonight. Of course, those last two events are completely dependent upon RockStar and his schedule. Since HandsomeBoy is still sick, I can't ask anyone else to babysit him while I go enjoy myself at a theatre! Just wouldn't be right.
The rest of the week is also crazy busy and I REALLY need to get back into the office and do some work that will actually result in money!!!
